Ron Hall brings more than 20 years of retirement plan experience to Monarch Plan Advisors, with a background that spans compliance, bundled recordkeeping, relationship management, and hands-on third-party administration.
Ron began his career in compliance roles with KeyBank and Charles Schwab, where he built a strong foundation in ERISA, plan operations, and regulatory requirements. He later spent 15 years as a Relationship Manager with Wells Fargo and Principal, working directly with plan sponsors and helping them navigate the day-to-day responsibilities of running a retirement plan.
Most recently, Ron served as a manager with FuturePlan by Ascensus, one of the largest TPA firms in the country. That experience gives Ron a practical, inside understanding of how plans are actually administered — not just how they are supposed to work on paper.
At Monarch Plan Advisors, Ron helps clients strengthen internal controls, identify administrative gaps, and improve plan processes before small issues become bigger problems. His ability to bridge technical administration, compliance, and real-world plan operations makes him a valuable resource for plan sponsors looking for practical guidance and better oversight.
Ron also holds advanced retirement plan administration credentials through ASPPA, including the QPA and QKA designations. While those credentials reflect his technical background, Ron’s real value comes from having been a practicing TPA — giving him a practical understanding of plan operations, internal controls, compliance issues, and the administrative details that can create risk for plan sponsors.
